Air:
There are three airports in Kerala, namely, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kochi. Thiruvananthapuram being an International airport connects to major cities in India and abroad.
Thiruvananthapuram International Airport:
Thiruvananthapuram International Airport is situated 4 km from the main city of Thiruvananthapuram. You can reach Kerala from gulf and many other parts of the world as all major international as well as domestic flights operate from here.
International flights: From/To: Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Fujairah, Jeddah, Kuwait, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, Ras-al-Khaimah, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore.
Domestic flights: From/To: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode and Mumbai,
Karipur Airport, Kozhikode:
The airport is located at a distance of approximately 26 km from Kozhikode railway station.

Located at Nedumbassery, 30 km off Kochi (Cochin) this airport also caters to International and domestic flights.

Rail:
Dotted with around 200 railway stations, Kerala is connecting most of the places in the state and to places in India. Super fast and express trains connect important places in the state to places outside Kerala including four metros Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
Road:
An extensive network of roads crisscrosses through out the state. National highways 47, 17, and 49 connect Kerala with other parts of India. Buses, autos and tourist taxis are the main modes of road transport.
Sea and Waterways:
Kerala is flanked on both sides by Arabian Sea and extensive network of backwaters make it ideal for water transport.
Regular ships venture from Kochi toward the Lakshadweep Islands.
Within the state, backwaters form not only a popular means of transport but tourist attraction too. With public ferry services, speed-boats and houseboats or “Ketuvallams” this internal water navigation system provides the single most travel product of Kerala.
With so many modes of transportation available given above, reaching Kerala is not a Herculean task.
