Airport - Ranchi
Ranchi is the major airport in the state connected to Delhi, Patna, Mumbai, and Calcutta with regular flights. There is another airport in Jamshedpur, but it is not used for commercial flights as of now. The new status of Ranchi as the capital of Jharkhand may see an increase in the number of flights and connections.

Ranchi the capital city is connected to most of the major cities around country and places inside the state. Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad, and Giridih are some of the other important railway stations in the state connected to major points across the country.
