had awarded the principality of Devi Garh to Sajja Singh to recognize his loyalty and bravery to Maharana during the Haldi Ghati battle in 1576. In the year 1760, the fort was constructed under Raghudev Singh II. Further structures were added to the Devigarh fort palace by the succeeding rulers.
