Tourist Attractions of Jaipur
Tourist attractions of Jaipur, have always attracted people from near and far, as certain intricacies are prominent in its architectural designs, which brings on the surface the rich culture of the Rajputanas.

One of the most prominent tourist attractions of Jaipur is the Hawa Mahal. It was originally used by royal women to watch the various processions and to keep track of the day to day life. The beehive style design of the building is unique which is why it is one of the most commonly visited places of Jaipur.

The City Palace is another of the tourist places near Jaipur. It is a classic example of the Mughal architecture and is located in the heart of the city. The palace houses a museum named after Maharaja Sawai Man Singh. The museum boasts of having rich collection of weapons, rare manuscripts, Mughal carpets and costumes. Some rare astronomical works, compiled by Sawai Jai Singh, in Persian, Arabic, Latin and Sanskrit are also to be found here.

Travel to Jaipur should also include a visit to the Amber Fort. This is situated on a hilltop outside Jaipur. The construction of this fort was originally started by Raja Man Singh in the 16th century and completed in the 18th century by Sawai Jai Singh. You can get amazing views of the surrounding areas from the fort. A blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture is reflected on the fort.

Ram Niwas Bagh is another of the places you can go while you are on your Jaipur tours. It was built in 1718 by the Sawai Jai Singh, who was extremely fond of astronomy. You can find several scientifically designed instruments here which were used to study the movement of the stars.
